Mark and Craft Freemasons join forces on Remembrance Sunday

Mark and Craft Freemasons paraded together to lay wreaths at Fleetwood Cenotaph in the town’s Memorial Park to honour Freemasons who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country by laying down their lives in two World Wars as well as in other conflicts.

The IPM of Wyre Mark Lodge No 754, Bob Boal, met up with APrGM Harry Cox, vice chairman and group secretary of the North Fylde Group Peter Greathead and Alan Lock and group mentor Damon Tait.
 
They joined forces with hundreds of other Fleetwood townspeople, civic dignitaries, representatives of the armed forces, youth groups and other local organisations all there to pay homage to those who died defending their country.
As Fleetwood Remembrance Sunday was blessed by a bright sunny day local people turned out to in their hundreds to take part in the service of Remembrance.
